MasterCard publishes a report on the world's most popular tourist destinations, the Global Destination Cities Index, every ten years. At least one night's stay and public statistics about spending habits are considered. The following is their take on 2022's most popular tourist destinations:


Bangkok, Thailand.

Bangkok, Thailand's capital city, is one of the world's most popular tourist destinations. International travelers have been flocking to Bangkok for the third year. Bangkok has many attractions, from historical palaces and temples to entertainment hotspots.


London, United Kingdom
