Bauchi in Hausa language means "The land of freedom and tourism." Bauchi State is rich in culture and tradition, shown in its dressing, food, historical buildings, and much more. It has the breath of fresh air that one must take in at least once in a lifetime.
Bauchi State is one of the first states to be created in February 1976. It has close boundaries with other Northern states such as Kano, Jigawa, Taraba, Plateau, Gombe, Yobe, and Kaduna State.

Emir of Bauchi's Palace
It is said to have been built entirely from mud by the famous master builder from Zaria, Babban Gwani (Muhammadu Durugu), in the 19th century. The Emir's Palace is characterized by tall walls and historical designs of different kinds. It is indeed an attraction.

Yankari National Park and Game Reserve
This wide life park houses lions, Elephants, and other animals. It is not only the animals that make up this National Heritage but the green vegetation and the Wikki Warm Springs, a natural hot spring flowing out from a rock. It is a perfect destination for nature lovers.
Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport
This is one of the best airports in Nigeria, named after the Former Prime Minister of Nigeria. It serves international and local flights. It started operation in 2014.

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa was the First Prime Minister of Nigeria. A monument was built to honor the remains of the minister, who was killed untimely. It doesn't only house his remains; it also includes a library and a mosque.

It is a Federal Government owned stadium built in 1985 with a capacity of 11,000. The Stadium has hosted World-cup matches in the past, which shows it is a standard stadium with world-class features such as an Olympic-size 10-lane swimming pool, a standard scoreboard, LED display and energy-saving floodlights, and an electronic scoreboard, CCTV for security surveillance, and an ultra-modern media center.
Mbula Hills
The present-day Dass LGA came to be before the jihad of Danfodiyo. People began to settle in around the foot and on Mbula hill. In the early 19th century, people immigrated to the area for security and respite, so they hid in caves and on the hilltop to avoid attack by their enemies. By the middle of the century, they had settled at the foot of Mbula hill, which has attracted tourists over the years.
Marshall Caves
It was discovered in the early 20th century. It has various engravings that show human habitation, probably during the times of the slave trade.
Tunga Dutse Rock Paintings
Tunga Dutse rock paintings include legible writings whose meanings are unknown. The paintings, the sandstone rock, and the carvings attract hundreds of visitors monthly.
